Karen started as an assistant at Creative Artists Agency. After 3½ years of honing her skills, went on to become a full-fledged agent at the Metropolitan Agency. During her twelve-year stint there, she ran the Talent Department, overseeing 10 agents and 150 actors, and in 1998 was promoted to Vice President. Her responsibilities included hiring new agents, packaging actors for development of television projects, and handling publicity. After Metropolitan, Forman went on to Agency of the Performing Arts were she spent the next three years. Karen left the agency in 2010 to start her own management company: Karen Forman Management. She is currently representing about 20 actors and several writers/directors/producers. She made the move to management to be more involved in all aspects of the industry involving her clients and taking on a more personal approach to representation, which is what she loves! As a talent agent in the industry, Karen has represented some of the top names in Hollywood, including: Matt LeBlanc, Hillary Swank, Rena Sofer, Kirsti Alley, Tom Selleck, Nick Cannon, Reno Wilson, Kim Wayans, Angelique Cabral and Jazmyn Simon, to name a few.
